Most people pay $0 monthly premium if they or spouse worked 10+ years
$1,676 deductible per benefit period of 60 days

Part B: Cost
Part B has a monthly premium based on YOUR earnings. Keep in mind, SSA uses a 2 year look back. In 2025, using the chart below, your premium will be based on your 2023 income.

If you’ve only signed up for Part A of Medicare and haven’t applied for Part B, no worries! Bring or email the correct form above to your HR department. You will need one for each employer that provided health insurance coverage to you once you became eligible for Medicare. Once complete, you can take these along with the part B application form to your local Security office. You can also easily upload it right here on this online application!
